Atlantic StationAtlantic Station Average User Rating: Atlantic Station is a 138-acre environmental redevelopment and reclamation of the former Atlantic Steel Mill in Midtown Atlanta. The popular new live-work-play community includes 12 million square feet of retail, office, residential and hotel space as well as a 2-acre lake, bike/pedestrian paths, an amphitheatre on 18th Street, and artifacts from the former steel mill site. It is the hottest place to live, shop, and play in Atlanta. The retail district boasts plenty of shoppers favorites including DSW Shoe Warehouse, Pier 1 Imports, Old Navy, the Gap, Dillard's, and Banana Republic. IKEA has made a home for itself in the district as well. For movie goers, Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 16 features stadium seating. Location: bounded by 16th Street, I 75/85, Bishop Street and Northside Avenue in Atlanta Georgia. Look for the bright yellow bridge spanning 17th street linking Midtown proper to Atlantic Station, crossing over 21 Interstate lanes near the I-75/I-85 merge.
