Centennial Olympic ParkCentennial Olympic Park Average User Rating: ![]() Photo by: David Robertson The Centennial Olympic Park began as the venue for the 1996 Olympic games. As a reminder of that time, Quilt Plazas and Water Gardens tell the story of the Olympics. Now the Park is a popular location for year-round activities, programs, and concerts attracting visitors and locals alike. During lunch the park greenspace with its skyscraper backdrop becomes a peaceful escape for mid-day workers.
Centennial Olympic Park is easy to find and simple to navigate. The directions below take you to the closest parking lot to the Park – the Green Lot. Parking is also available in other lots around the perimeter of the Park. During large events like On the Bricks and the Park’s Fourth of July Celebration, riding MARTA is encouraged.
