Piedmont Park is probably Atlanta's most beloved park treasure situated just north of downtown Atlanta near Atlanta's beautiful Botanical Gardens.  The Park is just going through its centennial celebration having gotten its start as a parcel of land donated from what was once racing ground for horse enthusiasts.  Today the park sports spacious lawns, paved pathways, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, pool, and two ponds.  This park is packed with activity on the weekends.
